The third test between England and South Africa begins today, 30th July, and England look to make changes...

Steve Harmison was included in the 13 but left out of the team, and the provisional eleven sees the return of Paul Collingwood and Ryan Sidebottom at the expense of Stuart Broad and previous random selection Darren Pattinson.  

Collingwood's record is excellent, although he will be desperate (and under extreme pressure) to produce some runs, while Sidebottom's return was a no brainer once he recovered from his back problems.  Broad will be disappointed, but although he has scored useful runs, his bowling has not shown the necessary penetration.  

South Africa switch Andre Nel in for Dale Steyn, who had his thumb broken by James Anderson in the last game (and is making a habit of damaging his opponents).   It's a disaster for our recommendation of backing Steyn as top SA bowler, but we did say he could always get injured...
