An incredible atmosphere as Kolkata witnessed a magical, theatrical comeback from Shoaib Akhtar.   The Rawalpindi express came on and devastated the vaunted upper order of Delhi, while a constant squeeze from the support bowlers - along with excellent fielding - forced Delhi to take chances they didn’t want to take. 

Delhi were seen off and this blow must have put their semifinal plans in serious jeopardy.  Their paucity of match winning talent below the openers was illustrated by the fact that they hit no sixes at all in their innings. 

Can Kolkata build on this tremendous victory and push through to the top half of the table?...

The Kolkata innings encapsulated their performance in the competition of late, as they slumped to a total of 133 in their allotted overs.

Butt and Chopra opened the innings, and Chopra never really looked comfortable, eventually spooning a catch to mid-off.   McGrath bowled with customary efficiency, conceding only 8 from his first two overs...
