The cellar dwelling Mumbai Indians knocked off powerhouse Delhi in a seesaw affair.   Mumbai looked to have posted a subpar 162, but on a pitch with a little life (and some very dead patches) they prevailed, and can look forward to skipper Sachin Tendulkar’s return in the next game to bolster a fragile batting line up.  

Tournament favourites Delhi Daredevils will simply put it down to a bad day at the office, and will no doubt rebound strongly, and should in fact be watched for any outward price movement due to this result – they’re still a class outfit...

The Mumbai innings never really got out of third gear, partly due to a slowish start.   Mumbai tried a new tack at the top of the order, opening with wicketkeeper Takawale, although it couldn’t really be classed as any kind of success....
